Generally works as advertised but has several severe flaws

It easy to set up and continues after you log out/logon but that is about all.

I’m not really sure what the author means by “opaque” as the dictionary says that “opaque” means "not transparent or translucent; impenetrable to light; not allowing light to pass through. “ I think he really means “translucent”. Whatever he means, its not adjustable so is only slightly translucent. Even with a white background, you cannot see what is behind the countdown.

The size of the countdown is not adjustable so several events clutter up the screen and the countdowns are on top of everything unitl they expire then they are in the background. You can move them to the lower left or right of the screen and stack them. Events that have expired are behind the other windows on the screen and you literally have to close all you apps or move to a desktop with no appl running! Anyway you look at it, the more countdowns you have running, the less work you can do because it hogged the screen.

It does not seem to recognize a 24 hr clock. My MacBooks are set on 24 hr time, but this application only allows a 12 hr clock. It is a real nuisance trying to calculate time around the world when you have to fiddle with 12 hour clocks.

And worst of all, they are on EVERY DESKTOP so every desktop is cluttered by the clocks! Since it is in the menu instead of the dock you cannot confine the clocks to a single desktop and not clutter up all of your other desktops. I really don’t want to look at events that are a month away on every desktop!

For the app to me useful to me I would want:
1 - the size of the individual windows to be adjustable so I can get “many” on a screen.
2 - all the windows confined to a single desktop.
3 - the translucency to be adjustable.
4 - a 24 hr clock

But most of all, I do not want the app’s clocks hiding my day to day app’s like Safari, Mail, Apple Store, etc. I would really like to get some real work done between now and next St. Swithun’s day.
