doesn’t work with Yosemite

I downloaded this app nearly a year ago and it worked the way it was promised. However, I have since upgraded my OS to Yosemite and I cannot open the program to modify/delete an expired countdown. Nor can I remove the currently expired countdown icon from my desktop - which is now counting the days since the date of the event. I cannot even delete the app as it is “running” yet doesn’t show as running when I engage the force quit option. I hope the developer realeses a fix for what I believe is an incompabitiliy with the current OS. If this were resolved, my rating would bump up to four stars as the app did what it promised, but didn’t surpass my expecations which would have been a fiver.
